Story of a summers ride 2009
Although failing to match the prowess of some lycra-clad enthusiasts who had whizzed past me near Hunston earlier in the day,
I I should like it noted that I managed to overhaul an octogenarian on the last lap near Walsham so I felt I had upheld the good name and reputation of the Lion Walk - even though I was actually collecting for our local parish church. Statistics: weather perfect; wind light to moderate; temperature 70; 20 churches visited; 39.7 miles cycled; money raised £269 - many thanks to everyone who sponsored me. Richard Thomson.
