Tweeting around Suffolk

I decided to combine my role as Hon. Publicity Officer for Suffolk Historic Churches Trust on Bike Ride Day (when, each year, I choose an area of Suffolk to visit to take photos for this website) with being the Bike Ride's first Suffolk "Tweeter".

Cycling since 1990

Gordon from Halesworth has been doing the Bike Ride since 1990,

He recommends getting sponsors early, this year he had a very successful start with a captive

audience on a coach outing.

Edward and Charlie start peddling 2011

While cycling leisurely around Beccles I met Edward and Charlie at St. Michaels Church and they told me how they have done the Bike Ride in past years; one in a bike seat with Mum and the other being towed along by Dad. This year they were providing their own pedal power for the first time as they cycled around Beccles and Bungay under the watchful eye of Mum.
